The first adherents of THE CVLT operated solely in secrecy, relying on alternative networks of communication to compose their sonic scripture in seclusion from any outside influence or watchful eye. Theirs was a project born of ancient knowledge, the completion and codification of an ancient hymn never heard in full that held within it the power to usher in a new age of human evolution.
Each of these initial initiates had heard within themselves a fraction of its melody, a gift bestowed upon them by a greater power as yet unknown, and by its omnipotent hand it was that they were guided to each other, the mutual involvement in THE CVLT born of inexorable circumstance.
Indeed, as their work progressed it was that a new convert would inevitably emerge, possessing within themselves some hitherto unknown harmony to be added to their chorus. In time the first forms of the hymn were sung, and though still incomplete the first tinges of their effects were felt by all who were present for their utterance. Ailments were lifted, wounds were mended, and from the minds of those who sang were revealed the locations of those who possessed further portions of the final work. Thus it was that THE CVLT progressed in its monumental task unhindered, and thus it is that THE CVLT stands today on the precipice of divine creation, ready to usher in a new era of sonic prophecy.
MIDNIGHT CVLT returns to EATBRAIN with THE CVLT, an EP that reveals four fabled compositions to the eager ears of the label’s horde.
