In the world of drum and bass, few names carry as much weight as Chase & Status. Comprising Saul Milton (Chase) and Will Kennard (Status), this duo has been at the forefront of the D&B scene for over a decade, influencing countless artists and producers along the way.
We had the pleasure of having Chase n Status at our "Friday Feeling" Event and the launch of DnB Noize at The Rhythm Factory in Whitechappel way back in 2008 during their debut album, “More Than Alot,” released in 2008.

The Early Days
Chase & Status started making waves in 2003, quickly gaining a reputation for their forward-thinking production and unique take on the drum and bass genre. Their debut album, “More Than Alot,” released in 2008, was a game-changer. Tracks like “Pieces” and “Eastern Jam” fused dubstep, grime, and D&B, establishing the duo as pioneers not just in D&B, but across electronic music.
Breaking Boundaries
Their second album, “No More Idols” (2011), was even bigger, featuring collaborations with artists like Dizzee Rascal, Plan B, and Tinie Tempah. The album brought drum and bass to a much wider audience with hits like “End Credits” and “Blind Faith,” which are still anthems in the rave scene today. Their ability to merge genres like hip-hop, rock, and electronic music without losing their core sound has made them one of the most versatile acts in modern music.

Chase & Status remain at the forefront of the drum and bass scene, constantly pushing the boundaries of what the genre can achieve. Their influence is undeniable, not just in D&B but across electronic and popular music. They continue to shape the future of drum and bass, and their place in the genre’s history is firmly secured.
